Dr Daryl Preece

Research Fellow

My primary research interests are in the field of light matter interaction concentrating on areas such as optical trapping and Holographic optical tweezers. Currently I am working on the forces and torques focused Laguerre-gaussian beams in the non paraxial regime. I also supervise advanced laboratory work in experimental physics.
