Our two most fundamental theories of the universe are general relativity and quantum mechanics. Both work extremely well in predicting and quantifying phenomena in their respective regimes of application, but at a deep level the two theories are incompatible. Relativistic Quantum Information seeks to understand the region of overlap between quantum and relativity by exploring their informational properties. This project will study quantum communication protocols in curved space-time and compare different approaches.
