SEMANT - automated semantic analysis of student quiz responses
In our recent publication "Managing Active Learning Processes in Large First Year Physics Classes: The Advantages of an Integrated Approach" we indicated we would make the source code for the "SEMANT" software tool available on this web site. Unfortunately this is not possible as we cannot separate the software from the web application until we obtain further software development funding.
The files below include a pre-print of the whole paper, as well as an internal evaluation report on the active learning teaching approach facilitated by the Semant software.
