The Simon Marais Mathematics Competition is an annual mathematics event designed to challenge top undergraduate/Honours students at participating universities in the Asia-Pacific region. Since its inception in 2018, many UQ students especially from Maths and Physics have participated and enjoyed this event.
Students can enter individually or in pairs but must register by 9 September 2022 with the UQ local coordinator, Dr Masoud Kamgarpour, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics.
This year the competition is planned for Saturday, 15 October 2022.
