# Hitchin's fibration and its application in mathematics and physics

**Project level: **PhD

Defined by the eminant mathematical physics Nigel Hitchin, the Hitchin's fibration is an example of an algebraic completely integrable system which has found applications in symplectic and algebraic geometry, representation theory, and the geometric Langlands program. The goal of this project is to study a generalization of this fibration.
