Representation theory of polynomial algebras

In recent years, certain representations of polynomial Lie algebras have given crucial new insight into the spectra of quantum mechanical models. This project will develop a systematic approach to the representation theory of these algebras. It will also construct and analyse differential operator realisations of the algebras and their relations to the theory of special functions.
