We undertake research and teaching in combinatorics, discrete mathematics, algorithm design and number theory.

We facilitate collaborative research projects with groups working in related areas in Australia and overseas, and maintain an active program of seminars and workshops.

Formed in 1998, we're one of 16 groups listed on the World Combinatorics Exchange.

We're a national base for the international Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications, and a regional base for the Combinatorial Mathematics Society of Australasia Incorporated (CMSA). We also publish the CMSA's Australasian Journal of Combinatorics.
