Using the computer on wheels to engage with remote students
Speakers: Associate Professor Tony Roberts & Dr Barbara Maenhaut (The University of Queensland)
Abstract: The School of Mathematics and Physics recently purchased two large touchscreen computers on wheels. These can be used with Zoom software to run tutorials for remote students or to enable research collaborations with external collaborators. Please come along with your device (laptop, iPad, stylus etc.) for a session in which we test out the equipment, including the interactive whiteboard.

Over the past 10 years many new ideas have been generated, collaborations made both within and across disciplines, and teaching grant proposals designed, submitted and received.
Students, staff and visitors to UQ are welcome to attend, and to suggest speakers and topics.
