Abstract

Attosecond physics – from Landau to Lindau and beyond

Professor Igor Litvinyuk will present an historical overview of development of attosecond science focusing on particular contributions by the scientists recognised with 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics – Anne L’Huillier, Pierre Agostini and Ferenc Krausz. Then Professor Igor Litvinyuk will review more recent developments in this field in the last 20 years following the Nobel-winning work leading to its current status and future directions.
