SMP Summer Industry Experience Program (Internships) - Applications close 24th September 2019.
Only open to Mathematics, Statistics and Physics students to engage with one of the School’s industry partners for real workplace experiences during 6-8 weeks between December and January. AMSI Vacation Research Scholarships - Applications close 23rd September 2019.
Got an idea for a maths/stats research project? Last year, 4 UQ/SMP students were recipients of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) VRS which supports university students from around Australia to spend their summer holidays working on supervised research projects – view their projects on the AMSI website link. Enjoy the challenge of a $3000 scholarship to complete a six-week research project and present your project at AMSIConnect, the national conference for AMSI Vacation Research Scholars (accommodation and travel included).
