UQ Summer Research Scholarships – SMP projectsApplications open Monday, 23 September 2024 and close Friday, 11 October 2024.  

This work experience opportunity runs for 6 weeks during the Summer Inter-Semester recess (January–February) and you'll receive a grant for participating in the program.

AMSI Summer Research Scholarships 2024-25 - Applications close Monday, 16 September 2024.

Got an idea for a maths/stats research project? Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) Summer Research Scholarships support university students from around Australia to spend their summer holidays working on supervised research projects. You will receive a $3000 scholarship to complete a six-week research project and present your project at AMSIConnect (the national conference for AMSI Summer Research Scholars) - accommodation and travel included.

AMSI Summer School 2025 - Applications close Sunday, 27 October 2024.

AMSI Summer School is an annual national training and networking event for honours and postgraduate students in the mathematical sciences and related disciplines, early career researchers and industry professionals looking to upskill.

Celebrating its 23rd year, Summer School 2025 will be hosted by The University of Sydney from 6 – 31 January 2025 (virtual participation also available). Connect with peers, researchers and potential future employers while developing your mathematical skills. You can even take a subject for credit!

AMSI BioInfoSummer 2024Registrations open Monday, 19 August 2024.

AMSI BioInfoSummer is a three-day national hybrid bioinformatics conference hosted by the University of Melbourne from 3-5 December 2024. This training and networking event brings together advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers and professionals from mathematics, statistics, data science, biology, biomedicine and computer and life sciences, to explore current bioinformatics research and developments. Participants will develop their bioinformatics skills, national networks and employability!
