To acknowledge National Reconciliation Week with the theme of 'Now More Than Ever', the School of Mathematics and Physics will be holding a screening of the documentary, 'We Don't Need a Map' in which Warwick Thornton examines Australians' relationship to the Southern Cross, a journey that takes him through Australia's political and cultural landscape as he discovers the constellation's astronomical, colonial and Indigenous history.
After the screening of 'We Don't Need a Map', afternoon tea from an Indigenous caterer will be held in the Global Change Institute (20), Atrium where attendees can have a discussion on the documentary.
