Public Lecture - Life, work and legacy of Professor Maryam Mirzakhani - the first female Fields Medal recipient

Please join us to celebrate the life and achievements of the brilliant Maryam Mirzakhani, the first female recipient of the most prestigious award in mathematics. Professor Mirzakhani was awarded the Fields Medal for her outstanding contributions to the dynamics and geometry of Riemann surfaces and their moduli spaces. Maryam Mirzakhani is gone far too soon, but her legacy will live on for the thousands of women she has inspired to pursue science and mathematics.
