In 2024 there will be a trial of quiet classes in several courses in Bachelor of Science. They are designed to provide a comfortable and inclusive environment where individuals can engage in learning without unnecessary distractions.

The tutors who lead these classes will be sensitive to the needs of the cohort.  The classes are open to anyone who may benefit from a calmer and more predictable learning environment.

To ensure a suitable environment we have implemented the guidelines below that we kindly ask all enrolled students to adhere to. Should you find these conditions challenging, we recommend choosing an alternative tutorial, workshop, or practical.

Class Guidelines:

  1. Quiet Atmosphere: Engage in conversations at a low volume to maintain a tranquil environment.
  2. Silent Electronic Devices: Keep all electronic devices on silent mode to minimize disruptions.
  3. No Food Allowed: Please refrain from consuming food during the class to ensure a distraction-free setting.
  4. Restricted Beverages: Only bottled water is permitted; kindly avoid bringing other drinks.
  5. Fragrance-Free Zone: To accommodate sensitivities, refrain from using strong-smelling deodorant, perfume, soap, or shampoo.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for everyone.
