Colloquium - Celebrating Women in Mathematics

We would like to invite you to our Special Colloquium celebrating Women in Mathematics at the University of Queensland. This event follows from a suggestion coming from the ICM Satellite event "World Meeting for Women in Mathematics" — see https://may12.womeninmaths.org/#.

This event will feature  short talks about the work of women mathematicians, including Ada Lovelace, Hanna Neumann, Emmy Noether and Karen Uhlenbeck. The talks will be given by Romina Arroyo, Sara Herke, Sabrina Streipert and Sheila Williams. They will be addressed to a general audience, from first-year students to fellow mathematicians.

Light refereshments will be provided after the event.
