Abstract
In recent years, the world of quant trading has exploded. Many mathematical minds are being pulled onto trading floors across the globe. In this seminar, I will give an introduction to this fast-paced mathematical arena. I will discuss some of the complex (and profitable!) mathematical problems that trading companies are trying to solve. Finally, I will give a ton of guidance on how to maximise your chances when applying for a job in quant trading/research.
