In the most recent Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) rankings exercise, we achieved the highest score of "5 - well above world standard" in the disciplines of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, physical sciences, astronomical and space science, condensed matter physics, quantum physics and optical physics.
We produce more than 200 peer-reviewed publications every year.
