Mathematics education
We aim to:
- apply the theory of teaching and learning to the practice of the discipline
- conduct and promote research in mathematics education
- strengthen connections between disciplines within the University
- cooperate and interact with other mathematics departments, both in Australia and abroad
- organise an active program of seminars to enhance research opportunities in the field
- increase the profile of education in mathematics
- attract quality research students.
We're responsible for the ongoing projects of the Teaching & Learning seminar series.
