We aim to develop and apply mathematical and statistical theory to produce tools that directly impact the management of fisheries, forestry, water security, conservation, pest and disease management, and adaptation to global changes.

Our wide range of investigations focus on solving applied resource management problems, and we welcome applications for new projects.

Our research and teaching expertise attracts staff and students from diverse backgrounds, locally and internationally.

We have strong links to government, industry and community partners, and our researchers and postgraduate students work collaboratively across varied settings.
