If you have any IT issues, you can submit a student IT request with the general ITS help desk.

Group-specific support

Room keys and paperwork

Email Physics Admin or visit Tara Massingham - Administration Officer (Physics), Room 324 of the Physics Annexe (Building 6) to get room keys and a computer account, and to complete any necessary safety paperwork.

Internal calendars

Ask any staff/PhD student to add you to the group's internal calendars.

Events and talks

Look out for our regular Astrophysics Group events, seminars and colloquia. Events include Journal Club (mainly for PhD level and above), Group lunch (for everyone), and Group meeting (for everyone).

Journals and papers

Sign up to Benty-Fields to vote for journal club papers. Select the 'Join Journal Club' menu on the left to join the UQ-Swinburne journal club.

Check the astro-ph arxiv each morning for recent Astrophysics publications. To find older papers use the NASA ADS search.

Join our mailing list via email. Ensure you send the email 
from the address that you want subscribed.

You can unsubscribe via email once you've finished your studies with us.
