Two University of Queensland lecturers have won national teaching excellence awards at the 2015 Australian Awards for University Teaching presentation at Parliament House in Canberra last night.
Each year the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, awards honorary degrees to individuals from around the world who have made substantial contributions to society.
For the annual Awards, the Chair of SMP’s Teaching and Learning Committee, Dr Barbara Maenhaut, received 34 nominations. A total of 15 prizes were awarded.
Two distinguished researchers from the School of Mathematics and Physics in the Faculty of Science at The University of Queensland have been appointed to the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts.
